Vino volante

Vino volante is our own line with collaborations. For a few years now, we have been releasing a few wines entirely according to our taste and ideas, together with our winemakers. From picking to label design, the amount of input we have varies per wine, but the end result is always a wine that suits our market and our portfolio. Wines that we like to drink ourselves. Every year we try to release a new wine! Our first collaboration ACAPULCO was so successful that we started doing this with several winemakers and that is how Vino Volante was born. Keep an eye on this page for updates on upcoming wines and order our collab wines directly here. Please note, they are always limited!

Our collabs:

Acapulco - With Vanessa from Du vin aux Liens and Farid from Sons of wine, from Alsace. We have been making Acapulco for 4 years now, every year a tropical blend of different Alsace grapes. One year orange, the next light red. It depends a bit on what the harvest brings us. A great success every year and sold out quickly! Due to its success, Vanessa has now released the wine in her own portfolio, so it can also be found outside the Netherlands.

Il soffione en La pantera - By Alessandro Martelli of Incontri from Suvereto, Tuscany. We often visit Alessandro when we are in Tuscany to visit family. Because he does not release all his wines every year and sometimes has something nice that we really like, we came up with the idea of working together and releasing some wines with our own labels. This is how Il soffione was first created and then he released an orange liter bottle especially for us, La pantera.

Maracaïbo - With Ivan and Mariano Sosol, from Friuli Venezia Giulia. Our latest collab! After a visit to this famous area where, among other things, Gravner and Radikon rule, we met Ivan Sosol in Terpin's restaurant. An upcoming winemaker's son from the hills of Gorizia and family of Gravner. The wines they make are still a bit too classic for our taste, but that has changed this year. Specially for us they have made a wine without added sulfites and without filtration, a two-week skin macerated Ribolla Gialla. We created the label in collaboration with Gail Gosschalk. Only 600 bottles available.
